Cheerup Circle is an expert in child rights, serving on Niti Ayog's sub-committee for Child Rights and Child Protection, as well as the Central advisory board for child and adolescent labor under the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Providing Technical Support In Policy Making

Cheerup Circle provided technical support to state governments in drafting the following policies:

Sensitizing Policy Makers To The Needs Of ‘Childescents’

Cheerup Circle conducted a pioneering study on the status and needs of 15-18-year-old children, challenging the norm by recognizing those over 14 as children. Their report, "Childescents In India: We Are Children too!" gained prominence, even featuring in the G20 Summit Summary Briefing Booklet, a gathering of world leaders.

Enabling Capacity Building Of Government Officials On Child Rights

Cheerup Circle submits to Ministries and bodies, enhancing government officials' capacity in child education, early childhood care, elementary education, juvenile justice, child labor, trafficking, marriage, and sexual abuse.
